You are signed up for one of the following shifts. Please review the e-mail you received to determine your exact shift.

Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled shift. You will need time to park and walk to the check in location.
Please make sure to check in at your "check in" time, and stay until your "check out" time. Leaving early or arriving late can create a situation where we do not have enough volunteers.
Your exact assignment may change depending on the needs of the race. Please be flexible!
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Upon checking in, you will receive a volunteer t-shirt to wear during your shift and to keep as a souvenir.
These shifts will take place indoors.
In case of poor weather, the race will go on as scheduled. Please make sure to attend your volunteer shift.
These volunteer shifts will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Volunteers will receive free parking at L.A. Live, Lot C, North Driveway. The address is 1111 L.A. Live Way, Los Angeles, CA 90015
Be sure to print the parking pass that was sent in your volunteer instructions e-mail. You will need it in order to receive free parking. Parking attendants do not usually accept a pass presented on a smartphone, so we strongly recommend that you print the parking pass and place it on the dashboard of your vehicle.
After you park, please walk to the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall H. We will have a volunteer check-in table set up there where you will sign in and receive a volunteer t-shirt. The volunteer t-shirt is yours to keep as a souvenir. Please make sure to wear your volunteer t-shirt during your shift.
There will be a security guard at the main entrance to the expo hall. Mention that you are a volunteer checking in for your shift, and they will allow you into the expo hall so that you can check in.
After signing in, you will be given a more specific assignment, and then you will be taken to the area where you will be doing your volunteering.
If you have any problems finding the parking location or the volunteer check-in table location, feel free to call and ask for directions. Phone numbers are provided at the end of this document.
Public transportation may be an option instead of driving. Please check the following websites for more information.
Please pay close attention to times. You want to make sure that your bus/subway line is open and operating at the times you need in order to arrive to your shift on time.
Keep in mind that our event closes streets, and buses may have different hours or be re-routed on race day.
We will provide water, snacks, and a meal at the midpoint of your shift.
Feel free to eat before your shift. Feel free to bring food, drinks, and snacks.
